The Buc-ee’s Brunswick location is expected to bring more than 200 full-time jobs to the area and have annual sales of over $30 million.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. — The wait is almost over: Buc-ee’s will finally bring its beaver fever to Brunswick July 1, the Texas-based convenience store chain told First Coast News Thursday.

The new Buc-ee’s travel center, located off of Interstate 95 at 7156 Hwy 99, broke ground on Jan. 29, 2024. It’s located about six miles from Darien, Ga. and 7.8 miles from Pinehurst, Ga.

The supersized convenience store, which is usually double the size of a normal gas station, is commonly referred to as the “Disney World” of gas stations, with tons of food offerings such as Texas barbecue and other hot food, beef jerky, homemade fudge, jellies and more.

The largest Buc-ee’s, which is also the world’s largest convenience store at 75,593 square feet, is located in Luling, Texas. However, that Texas location won’t …
