New Netflix show is about to be filmed in this city in Ontario [Video]

If you’re a fan of psychological horror and drama, you’ll want to add this upcoming series to your Netflix watchlist, which is being filmed right here in Ontario.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, a highly anticipated Netflix original series, officially received the green light in July of 2024.

Created by Haley Z. Boston (Brand New Cherry Flavor and Cabinet of Curiosities), the show is set against the ominous backdrop of an ill-fated wedding, where a bride and groom’s week-long journey to their nuptials unravels into something much darker.

In December 2024, Netflix revealed the star-studded cast on its Tudum platform. Leading the ensemble are Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six) as the bride and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus) as the groom. The supporting cast includes Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fargo), Ted Levine (Monk), Gus Birney (Shining Vale), Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox), Karla Crome (Lazarus), and Zlatko Burić (Triangle of Sadness).
