The FBI has traced the movements of the suspect involved in the Bourbon Street attack on New Year’s Day, revealing a year-long trail of travel and suspicious activities. From June 2023 to December 2024, the suspect traveled to Cairo, Egypt; Ontario, Canada; and New Orleans. The FBI says Jabbar visited New Orleans on Oct. 31 and Nov. 10.During the October trip, Jabbar wore Meta glasses to record video while riding a bike around the French Quarter.FBI is trying to contact anyone who interacted with him on those trips.He wore the Meta glasses during the attack, but the FBI says they were not activated.Before traveling to New Orleans, Jabbar was seen at multiple gun stores in Texas.
