As the weather warms up and spring approaches, travellers may start planning their much-needed getaways. With demand rising, Pearson Airport in Mississauga is expanding its offerings, adding more routes to provide greater options for those looking to book flights in the coming months.

China Airlines

Pearson has welcomed China Airlines Cargo as the latest addition to its growing cargo network. As of February 7, 2025, the airline is operating two weekly flights from Taipei, Taiwan, using a Boeing 777-200 Freighter.

This new route strengthens Pearson’s position as a key logistics hub, connecting Canada with one of the world’s busiest cargo airports. Handling over 45% of Canada’s air cargo, Pearson now has 13 major cargo operators and 37 key routes, ensuring seamless freight movement between Canada and Asia.
