VICTORIA –BC Conservative Leader John Rustad unveiled his shadow cabinet for the largest opposition caucus in the province’s history.
The announcement, made earlier today, highlighting the portfolios that will be overseen by the Peace Region’s newly elected MLAs.
Jordan Kealy, MLA for Peace River North, was named Shadow Minister of Agriculture, Expansion, and Food Security.
While Larry Neufeld, representing Peace River South, will take on the Natural Gas and LNG portfolio.
In a statement, Rustad said the cabinet represents a diverse and experienced group focused on holding the NDP government to account.
“Our shadow cabinet is a diverse and experienced group, committed to restoring prosperity, public safety, and affordability for every British Columbian,” said Rustad.
Aside from his duties as MLA, Kealy is also a farmer and millwright, while Neufeld is the former VP of Western Canada’s largest environmental remediation contractor.
