Emergency crews are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a truck on Ninth Avenue S.E. Monday morning.
Calgary police shut down a section of the road, between Fourth Street and First Street S.E. as a result.
The patient was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
