NEW YORK (WABC) — The National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert for Wednesday from ground level ozone/pollution.
Sensitive individuals, including the very young, the elderly, and persons with respiratory diseases such as asthma, should avoid strenuous activities during the afternoon and early evening hours.

The air quality alert will be in effect from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

Wednesday will be even warmer and a bit more humid with hazy sun once again due to smoke from the Canadian wildfires.
