Halloween will be a wet one in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

Showers will begin in the evening and end after midnight, according to the latest forecast by Environment Canada.

Thursday (Oct. 31) will be mainly cloudy through the day, with winds becoming southwest at 40 km/h and gusting to 60 km/h in the morning.

The high will be 23 C and feel more like 26 with the humidex. The UV index will be 2 or lower.

Trick-or-treaters will head out under mainly cloudy skies. Showers will begin in the evening and last into the early morning.

Winds will be southwest at 40 km/h and gusting to 60 km/h before diminishing to 20 km/h and then back up to 40 km/h later in the evening.

A chilly overnight low of 8 C is expected.
