From the mystery surrounding a missing wedding dress, to tracking number turmoil, 2024 was certainly full of odd and unusual stories. Here are some of our favourites.

Wilmot woman recounts UPS tracking mistake that caused Stanley cup confusion

A woman living in Wilmot got much more than she bargained for when buying a Valentine’s Day gift.

Tracey Kampferseck ordered two Stanley tumblers for her and her daughter and, shortly after, began receiving messages from people across the country.

“My phone starting ringing,” she recalled. “I never answer my phone, but this number kept calling and calling.”

The caller said he bought a cup for his girlfriend and then told Kampferseck his package had been delivered to her home in Wilmot.

Kampferseck told him that wasn’t the case and the only cups she received were the two she ordered for herself and daughter for Valentine’s Day.
