A thick blanket of fog hung over Loewen Boulevard in Steinbach on Monday morning as two large excavators rolled up to the old Steinbach Family Medical Clinic. Their arrival marked the first big step in a major project: turning the former clinic into the future home of Steinbach Bible College (SBC).
SBC President Dave Reimer shared his excitement and noted that demolition at their new location has finally begun.
“Only part of the building will be coming down; the west wing, so they can do a fresh build. We’ll be renovating the east wing to be our office space. The atrium will be our community living center, where students will eat and lounge together.”
