Not to get too deeply into personal details, but sometimes you find fodder for the therapist’s couch in the strangest of places. That’s an admission that there’s something deeply PTSD-inducing about “I Found a Frog” by Kids With Knives.

On a purely aesthetic level, the song and accompanying video is as low-key gorgeous as it is DIY-adorable.

They don’t call us Beautiful British Columbia for nothing, and the scenic side of the West Coast is on full display here, from the snow-capped-mountains-and-pristine-lakes opening vista to the tree-lined small-town shots later on. Musically Kids With Knives is all about dream-jangle guitars and gauze-swaddled vocals, with “I Found a Frog” perfect for lazy sun-drenched Sundays and spring Sea to Sky road trips.
