THIS MORNING…

Temps are cold once again this morning, bottoming out in the teens inland, near 20 along the shoreline. The wind remains up, gusting to 36 mph in Meriden at 3am. With the wind, it feels like it’s in the single digits out there, so bundle up all over again! At least the skies are clear!

THE REST OF THIS WEEK…

With low pressure spinning over Newfoundland and high pressure positioned over the Central Plains, the wind remains up as CT is sandwiched between the two. While it will certainly be cold, the actual air temp won’t be too extreme for January in Connecticut (highs will be running about 5 degrees below normal today).
