An Ontario city has made a top ten list of best places to live and work for millennials.
Toronto was the only city outside of Europe to rank in the top ten of the Best Cities in the World for Millennials list from aggregator Compare the Market AU.
The list ranks cities based on 15 different factors including startup businesses, unemployment rate, cost of living, mortgage credit interest rate, internet speed, educational attainment, anti-discrimination, LGBTQ+ acceptance, gender equality, health, number of bars, walking trails, attractions and fitness clubs.
Although unemployment rates have been rising across Canada, including Toronto, the city ranked highly in other areas. Toronto is the fourth highest for equality, with a 100 per cent score for anti-discrimination, as well as coming fourth for LGBTQ+ acceptance.
