When a second look added three more zeros to the total, an Oshawa couple knew it was going to be a good day.

A million-dollar day, in fact.

“I was scanning our tickets on the OLG app and got to the last one – a LOTTO 6/49. When I found out it was a winner, I was shocked and thought I saw a prize amount of $1,000,” Lindsay Baerg recalled, as she and Dwight Smith visited the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their windfall. “I told Dwight we’d won $1,000, but when he checked our ticket on his phone, he discovered we’d actually won $1 million!”

Baerg and Smith won a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on February 19.
