A philosophy of forging partnerships with other aligned organizations to deliver better health care for all continues for Lakeridge Health, with the announcement of a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Grandview Kids coming Friday morning.
The initiative involves the creation of a state-of-the-art outpatient procedure room at the Jerry Coughlan Building, Grandview Kids’ new headquarters in Ajax. Friday will also mark the kick-off of Lakeridge Health Foundation’s $1 Million campaign to outfit the room with medical equipment, a campaign that earned a huge boost from two local families who provided a matching gift of $50,000.
Lakeridge Health teamed up with the world-renowned Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) just last week on mental health care in the region by combining expertise to provide accessible, high-quality care close to home for those with mental health challenges.
