A second straight second-place finish in the second of the three-game Jeopardy Masters tournament quarter-final match was enough to keep Whitby’s Juveria Zaheer – Canada’s last hope in the competition – in fourth place heading into next week’s deciding games.
The top four of the six remaining contestants in the popular television game show qualify for the semi-finals.
Final Jeopardy knocked Zaheer down to second Tuesday but a correct response Wednesday helped the psychiatrist and researcher with CAMH and the University of Toronto climb into second.
