OPG, hospital executives dominate public sector Sunshine List east of Toronto [Video]

The annual ‘Sunshine List’ of public sector employees in Ontario earning more than $100,000 a year has become less relevant in the nearly 30 years since its introduction – inflation has made sure of that – but continues to show the widening gap between ordinary Ontario workers and those at the top of the corporate food chain.

Ontario Power Generation, which is in the process of moving its headquarters from downtown Toronto to the former General Motors Canada head office building in Oshawa, has the biggest share of the mega-earners, taking the top two spots, half of the top ten and 13 of the top 50 salaried employees in the province.
