No horses were injured in a collision involving an SUV and a horse-drawn wagon in the Ottawa Valley.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says emergency crews responded to a collision at the intersection of Letts Cemetery Road and Snodrifters Road in North Algona Wilberforce shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday.

“An SUV collided with the rear of a wagon being pulled by multiple horses,” the OPP said.

The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say there were no injuries reported for the individuals in the wagon or the horses.
