OPP seek witnesses in North Huron investigation [Video]

The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a series of incidents that took place in the Village of Blyth, in the Township of North Huron, between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

OPP said they received information that a person had trespassed and committed offences on several properties in Blyth.

A 27-year-old North Huron resident was arrested on Dec. 11 and charged with the following offences:

  • trespassing at night (four counts)
  • criminal harassment – besetting and watching (two counts)
  • criminal harassment – repeatedly follow
  • indecent act (two counts)
  • being unlawfully in a dwelling house
  • fail to comply with probation

Police are continuing to investigate the incidents and are seeking the public’s help.

“If anyone observed or had an interaction with a suspicious male between Nov. 30 and December 1., police would like to hear from you. If you have any home video surveillance that may be relevant, please contact the OPP,” police said in a media release.
