Ottawa begins consultations on proposed ‘Red Dress Alert’ system

Consultation has begun on a ‘Red Dress Alert’ for Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people who go missing. It will work similarly to the current Amber Alert system, but some advocates say it should be expanded to include all Indigenous people.
