Ottawa is in for a cloudy, moist Monday, with higher than average temperatures and rain showers turning to a rain/snow mix in the afternoon.

Environment Canada’s weather forecast for the capital calls for a high of 7 C, falling to around 3 C in the afternoon, with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the early afternoon. Fog patches should dissipate as the morning goes on.

As the temperature drops, the rain could be mixed with a bit of snow later in the day and into the evening hours.

Overnight, the low is 0 C, with a 40 per cent chance of rain mixed with snow.

Tuesday’s outlook is cloudy with a high of 4 C, about 10 degrees warmer than average for this time of year.
