The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games has announced their first big guests as they prepare for the festival’s 80th anniversary.
The games will be taking place from Aug. 8 – 10, 2025, featuring Scottish culture, food and entertainment.
On Saturday, they will host ‘A Scottish Saturday Night Concert’ featuring the Bay City Rollers.
The Scottish pop rock band reached their height in the 1970s and are sometimes affectionately known as the “tartan teen sensations from Edinburgh.”
Festival mainstays the Red Hot Chili Pipers and Albannach will join them on the main stage.
Meanwhile, the festival made another big announcement in a media release on Monday.
Charles Vandervaart, known for his role as William Ransom in the television series Outlander, will be appearing as the featured guest for 2025.
