Overturned cement truck closes I-77 North exit at E. 9th/Ontario in Cleveland [Video]

CLEVELAND — Heads up if you are driving in downtown Cleveland!

According to Cleveland Fire, the East 9th Street/Ontario Avenue exit from I-77 North is closed after a cement truck overturned on Thursday morning. 

On X, officials posted that emergency crews responded to the scene, where the driver was extricated from the wreck and transported to MetroHealth Medical Center by Cleveland EMS.

Officials say that the driver is in stable condition. 

Cleveland Fire’s HAZMAT team is also on-site due to a diesel spill caused by the crash.
