TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Continuing coverage of a story that has stunned the Perrysburg community and beyond. A man is facing forgery charges after he posed as a teenager and enrolled at Perrysburg High School.

Police say that Anthony Labrador Sierra duped the school by providing a false birth certificate. That was in November of 2023. The document stated he was born in 2007. Turns out, he was actually born in 2001, and is currently 24 years old.

Records show, once Labrador Sierra enrolled in school, he was matched with legal guardians. From there, he acted like he was one of the teenagers. That included joining school sports. He was reported last week and arrested.

There are now plenty of questions when it comes to the documents needed to enroll in school. We’re taking a look at the broad picture, not directly related to the case in Perrysburg.
