Founded by award-winning chef Sean Sherman, Owamni is bringing its signature flavors to the fair.

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — There’s more than just pronto pups and mini donuts on the menu at the Minnesota State Fair. 

Did you know you can also get a taste of Owamni’s delicious Indigenous cuisine right at the Great Minnesota Get-Together?

Founded by award-winning chef Sean Sherman, and now operated by his nonprofit North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NATIFS), the Minneapolis restaurant is know for showcasing Native foods and culture, with a majority Native staff.

The team from Owamni joined KARE 11 News at Noon to share what they’re bringing to the fair in 2024.
