A five-year-old Jersey named Delphie was crowned grand champion at this year’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, the seventh such champion from P.E.I. It was just another honour for the cow owned by Blair and Jaime Weeks of Pleasant Valley. The Island’s agriculture minister, a past winner at the Royal, says the Island punches above its weight when it comes to dairy cows. Nancy Russell introduces us to Delphie.
