It only took police half an hour to nab a pair of speeders going nearly double the limit on the same stretch of road in an Ontario town.

The pair of high-speed traffic stops happened within a 30-minute span on Thursday on Old School Road near Heritage Road in Caledon, just north of Brampton.

The OPP says officers were out in the rain and stopped one driver going 111 km/h and another going 105 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

Police say the drivers were both charged with stunt driving charges, which come with licence suspensions and a vehicle impound.
