Passenger Captures ‘Terrifying’ View of Colorado Tornado From Plane Window [Video]

A video of a tornado in Colorado just outside Denver captured by a passenger on a plane has gone viral on TikTok.

The clip was shared by @thisgirltasha94 and has amassed more than 1.5 million views since it was posted on May 19. Text overlaid on the clip says: “Tornado in Denver today from my flight.”

The clip shows an aerial view from a plane window, with what appears to be a tornado spinning in the distance as the camera zooms in on the scene. A caption shared with the post simply says: “Hope all who were affected are OK and recover quickly!”

At least four tornadoes touched on down in Colorado on Sunday, the National Weather Service (NWS) said on Monday, striking just east of the Denver metro area, CBS News reported.

There were no deaths or injuries reported, but dozens of buildings, including homes, were left damaged by the tornadoes.
