THURSDAY: Cool air from Canada, plus clear skies, will lead to chilly temperatures across our region, with lows in the low-40s at best. However, a few areas in the northern half of our region, such as the Devils Lake Basin and eastern Lakes Country, could see morning lows in the 30s. This could lead to frost, which could damage outside plants and vegetation. Thus, there is a Frost Advisory in effect until 9am Thursday morning for temperatures as low as 35 degrees in the Devils Lake basin (Towner-Cavalier-Benson-Ramsey counties) as well as several counties throughout northwestern MN (East Marshall-Pennington-Red Lake-East Polk-North Clearwater-Mahnomen-South Clearwater-Hubbard-East Becker).
