Perfume-loving thieves weaponize a hammer in drug store robbery in Ontario town [Video]

Police are on the hunt for three hammer-wielding perfume thieves and their getaway driver after a midnight drug store robbery in Pickering Sunday night.

An employee was just closing up when three men rushed into the Shoppers Drug Mart store on Kingston Road a few minutes after midnight. Police said the men used a hammer to smash a perfume display case and fled to a waiting vehicle operated by a fourth suspect with a quantity of perfume.

The thieves were gone before police arrived.

The victim suffered no physical injuries.

All three suspects in the store were described as white men, 18-25 years old with two of them wearing black masks. Suspect #1 was wearing a dark track suit with a hoodie and red running shoes. Suspect #2 and #3 were both wearing black and grey jackets with hoodies, black pants and black shoes.
