PERRYSBURG, Ohio — A man accused of posing as a teenager to enroll at Perrysburg High School is facing felony forgery charges. Police stated he used a false identity and documents to attend school for months without raising suspicion.
Anthony Emmanuel Labrador Sierra, 24, was arrested Monday by Perrysburg Township and Perrysburg police deputies. Authorities reported he enrolled into the Perrysburg schools system back in January 2024, using the name ‘Anthony Labrador.’ Investigators believe he presented a Venezuelan birth certificate showing he was born in 2007, making him appear to be 16 years old at the time.
Owner of Lupitas Cantina, Jose Carlos Mendez has lived in Perrysburg for 15 years. He said the case has left the community stunned.
“It’s shocking. It’s disgusting,” Mendez said. “I think everybody’s in shock right now.”
