One person has been airlifted to hospital following a crash near Enfield, N.S.

RCMP was called to the single-vehicle crash between Exit 6 and 7 on Highway 102 around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say a Toyota Rav 4 was travelling north when it left the highway.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A section of Highway 102 was closed between Exit 6 and Exit 7 for several hours but has since reopened.
