Halton Police are trying to identify the occupants of a car that has been linked to their investigation of a homicide in Burlington.

A man in his 50s was gunned down in the parking lot of the Mandarin Restaurant at 1881 Fairview St. around 8:30 p.m. yesterday (April 29).

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident, but they have not revealed what they believe is the motive behind the shooting.

Today, they said the vehicle of interest they are looking for is a grey, newer model Honda Civic with dark-tinted windows and black alloy rims.

They are appealing to the public to help identify the vehicle and those who may be connected to the car.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Major Crime Bureau at 905-825-4776.
