When a wedding photographer wanted to add something extra to a foggy wedding-day shoot, she enlisted a little unexpected creativity and willing groomsmen—creating not only the perfect picture, but a hilarious viral moment, too.

Devon Wells, 36, from Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada, has been photographing weddings for three years. She recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from a ceremony where an unconventional trick brought unexpected magic to the shoot: vape clouds.

“We had just finished getting the wedding-party photos and were moving into the bride and groom’s portraits,” Wells told Newsweek. “The weather was honestly terrible—snow, rain, fog—you name it. The lake nearby was completely socked in with low-hanging clouds.”

However, then inspiration struck. “I saw all the groomsmen, and most of the bridesmaids too, vaping while they were getting ready to leave the location,” Wells said. “That’s when I had the idea to ask them if they could blow their vape clouds toward the couple.”
