A wayward pig got lost during the winter storm in southern Ontario.
Much of southern Ontario woke up to a huge blanket of snow on Thursday morning. The winter storm started Wednesday night.
While many officers were busy with traffic issues, one police service rounded up a pig.
The pig was spotted “hoofing it” down Mandaumin Road in Plympton-Wyoming, a rural area near Sarnia on Wednesday night, Lambton OPP said in a post on X.
Fortunately, officers tracked down the owner and made sure the farm animal got home safe, the OPP said.
“Just another ‘hamazing’ night on patrol!” police said.
