Police asking for assistance in alleged child luring and sexual assault investigation in Ontario [Video]

Police in Ontario are asking for assistance after an individual was arrested in connection with multiple alleged sexual assault investigations.

According to the Huronia West OPP, the suspect has been posing as a 15-year-old boy named “Justin” on the frequently used instant messaging app Snapchat, with the intention to lure children.

According to police, a series of incidents connected to this shell account occured this month in the Town of Wasga Beach.

Police have further alleged that last year, in the fall of 2024, the accused sexually assaulted a young person in the Wasaga Beach area.

Law enforcement officials have since indicated that on March 14, 23-year-old Christopher Sisson of Wasaga Beach was charged in connection with these alleged incidents.

The charges are as follows:

  • Luring a child
  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual interference

Sisson is expected to appear in court in April.
