Police recover stolen cars in rural Ontario, Quebec men charged [Video]

Two Quebec men are facing numerous charges after police recovered two stolen vehicles in rural Clarington.

Durham Police responded to a stolen vehicle call just before noon on June 6 near Concession 7 and Gibbs Road, north of Bowmanville and just east of the hamlet of Tyrone. Officers were able to arrest both drivers without incident and without damage to the vehicles.

Kevin Lizotte, 35 and Maxime Paquette, 25, were both charged with motor vehicle theft, two counts of possession of stolen property (over $5,000), possession of an electronic device for vehicle theft and possession of an automobile master key.

Both men were held for a bail hearing.
