The OPP have released a composite drawing of the man wanted in the brutal road rage attack on an 80-year-old woman on the Salem Road on-ramp to Highway 401 in Ajax on April 23.
The woman was in critical condition at a Toronto trauma centre after the attack (which followed a minor collision) and OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, who called the incident a “terrible assault,” is hoping the public can help find the man responsible for the attack.
Police are still hopeful of dashcam footage of the incident, which happened between 10:35 and 11 on the morning of April 23.
The suspect, who fled the scene, is described as 20-35 years old, with long black hair and tattoos on his arms and chest and wearing a corduroy-style beige cap. He was driving a white or light beige Nissan sedan which may be damaged by the collision.
