Police search for man armed with a knife in Oshawa, Ontario [Video]

Police were searching for a man who is believed to be armed with a knife in Oshawa.

There was a heavy police presence for the search in the area of Steeplechase Street and Windfields Farm Drive East in Oshawa overnight, Durham Regional Police said on X at 12:39 a.m. on Monday.

The man is described as Black, between five-foot-eight inches tall and five-foot-10 inches tall and approximately 20 years old.

He was wearing a black “Safari” wide-brim hat, sunglasses, a grey hoodie, and a black “Jansport” backpack.

Anyone with information should call 911.
