Police in Surrey, B.C., are investigating a shooting that resulted in damage to a car and a home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Officers were called to reports of several shots being fired outside a home in the 7700 block of 126A Street in the Newton neighbourhood around 1:30 a.m., the Surrey Police Service said in a statement Monday.
Police say several residents were inside the home sleeping during the shooting, but no one suffered any injuries.
A car parked in the driveway beside the house was hit by several bullets and was examined by forensic investigators, the statement said.
Two suspects wearing dark clothing were seen fleeing the scene, it added.
