Pouce Coupe Legion Branch #34 at risk of closing [Video]

DAWSON CREEK –The Pouce Coupe Legion Branch #34 is at risk of closing. Mayor Danielle Veach came to social media with the announcement earlier this week.

Veach stated two main reasons for the possible closure. One is the struggle to meet the minimum of 50 members. The second reason is a lack of board members.

Veach also stated that the Legion is a historic staple to the community and the rest of the province.

An emergency board meeting open to the public will be held on September 29th.
