President Trump hosts Canadas PM Carney [Video]

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – Despite the ongoing trade war, the President has a friendly meeting with his Canadian counterpart.

President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney were all smiles in the Oval Office Tuesday. And both leaders made it clear that despite the President’s trade tariffs policy, they are committed to working together.

During their first face-to-face meeting with each other, President Trump and newly-elected Prime Minister Carney were quick to heap praise on each other as their meeting began .

“But I want to just congratulate you, Mark. A great election, actually. We were watching it with interest, and I think, Canada chose a very talented person, a very good person, as we spoke before the election quite a few times.”

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney returned the positive vibes:

“Thank you for your hospitality. And, and above all, for your for your leadership. You’re a you’re a transformational president.”
