Dan also mentioned the need to control spending and is worried about the new sports complex.
“Our tax base isn’t the same as other communities and to be honest, our taxes are already high enough. I have a son that lives in Calgary and his taxes are half of what mine are and his house is worth twice as much.”
Meanwhile over at the East End Curling Rink in Ward 4, Brittany commented on the need for whomever gets elected to address homelessness.
