The public will get another look at a two-phased high-density, multi-building, mixed-use residential development in Pickering on May 13, a proposed project that will rise as high as 35 storeys from what is now the Whites Road Shopping Centre, bringing more than 1,700 residential units to the city’s urban landscape.
The development will boast three buildings with five residential towers ranging in height from 28 to 35 storeys, 1,748 apartments, more than 3,900 square metres of non-residential space, a small park and a new public road.
Developers 705 Kingston Rd. Ltd, with help from an $8 million cash infusion from equity partners Cranston Capital (Toronto), are looking to redevelop the plaza at Kingston Road and Whites Road as a mostly residential project.
