The QEII is closed northbound near Lacombe because of a serious crash as of 10:50 a.m. on Friday, RCMP say.
Northbound traffic is being diverted through Lacombe.
Police say the highway will likely be shut down for about four hours.
No details on the crash have been provided, but STARS Air Ambulance was called to the area around 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
