Residents said rats can be heard in between the walls and in the elevators.

WASHINGTON — Residents at Quebec House apartments in the Northwest DC neighborhood of Cleveland Park turned to WUSA9 after they said they’ve been dealing with a rat infestation for the last 3 months.

Jim Barritt, a long-time resident believes the rats are coming from a nearby hill that sits across the complex and behind a local grocery store.

Sarah Elliot told WUSA9 she moved into the apartment complex about 3 months ago. She said the rodents can be heard in between the walls.

“When you are standing in the elevators you can hear them scurrying their feet and the squeaking running right above you.” …
