A New York City man will serve 15 months in prison after admitting to smuggling people across the border in the North Country. According to the U.S. attorney’s office, Atikur Razzaque of Queens, New York, pleaded guilty to traveling to the U.S.-Canada border in Westville, New York, where he smuggled three Bangladeshi citizens into the U.S. in exchange for money last September.
