ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – There will be a new storm coming in from the west affecting the Aleutians to the Bering Strait to western Alaska. Snow and then a mix of rain and snow, along with high winds are anticipated. The snow will impact the Seward Peninsula.

There is a high wind advisory in place over the Yukon Delta Coast. East winds 30 to 45 mph, gusting to 60 mph. This will be in effect through 9 pm Tuesday. This storm will also push daytime highs above freezing over the Aleutian Chain, Alaska Peninsula to Gambell and Nome. This is why a rain-snow mix is likely.
