BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Low pressure is forecast to move from the Mid-Atlantic Region this morning northeastward towards Cape Cod this afternoon then towards the southern tip of Nova Scotia tonight. This will bring us a quick shot of light precipitation today with the steadiest falling over areas south of Greenville and Millinocket. Light snow this morning will likely change to mixed rain/snow and possible even all rain for inland and northern locales by later this morning into the afternoon while precipitation falls mainly as rain along the coast. Accumulations will be minimal and will occur on existing snowpack. Expect accumulations of a coating to an inch or so possible in spots especially north of Bangor.
