Rainbow Stage is looking for young talent for the Manitoba premiere of the Broadway musical Frozen.

Artistic director Carson Nattrass is looking for three girls between the ages of 8 and 15 to play young Anna and Elsa, with one girl being the two other girls’ understudy.

Eighty children have signed up so far, but Nattrass said he expects to audition as many as 100 children.

“We are going to hear ‘Do you want to build a snowman’ over a hundred times and every single one of those times is going to be a privilege,” Nattrass said. “Whether you have lots of experience or not, we’re excited to see the talent in this city.”

He said Frozen will be a popular show this summer.

“When we went on sale, it crashed our ticketing system.”
